Hello there, I am so happy that you decided to come and read my blog!
My name is Lizzy Kathryn and I am so excited and grateful to finally start my blogging journey. I am a college girl who has many passions that go beyond the average textbook. If that sounds like you, lets be friends. I always asked myself “why not start a blog?” and “do I have time to put all my heart and soul into this blog?” Well, I’m here, so the answers to those questions lead me to say, “YES, I want to create this blog and give it everything i’ve got!”
Now the real question is, why a blog?
I have been reading blogs since around 2011, so I always had a huge interest in the blogging world and community. I love seeing how people connect through their shared passions, as the world is so full of anger and hatred, it is so nice to see people having a great time and sharing joys. Happiness and kindness are contagious, even through a screen. During hard times freshmen year of college, through essays and final exams, blogs and YouTube videos took me out of reality. I want to add to this world of blogging, and give readers a feeling of escape during a time in their lives.
Right before my freshmen year of college, I also spent my time scrolling through Pinterest and reading blogs about what you “should” and “should not” bring to college. Through my constant searches and stress about starting college, I realized how much I loved reading blogs and hearing other student’s stories. From there, the passion grew into watching YouTube way more often than any normal human being, and reading too many blogs to digest. I knew I badly wanted to join the blogger world as I feel like I had a lot to say and add. Fast forward three years, and I finally have the guts to try. I hope I can inspire you with my passions and connect with as many people as humanly possible.
So, in essense, I started a blog because of how much I was inspired by other bloggers, and because I truly from the bottom of my heart hope to share my passions with other bloggers and readers. I also really enjoy writing and reading, so blogging seemed like the best platform for me.
Lastly, I just really want to share this really cute outfit with you! During the spring and summer months I really love a cute pair of comfy shorts. As much as I love a good pair of denim shorts, they aren’t exactly ideal for Florida summers. This really cute pair of army green (as you will soon see, I am quite terrible at describing the color of things) from Nordstrom rack. They are super comfy but also high-waisted and adorable! Anything high-waisted is my best friend.
The top is from Charlotte Russe, which again is just comfy and slouchy. I am a huge sucker for tee-shirts that have writing on them or have fruit on them. In the summer time I prefer super lightweight teeshirts for the extremely hot weather.
The shoes are from Steve Madden, and let me just say, they are the most comfortable shoe I own! I absolutely love them, and they are rose gold! I believe this style of shoe comes in many different colors and they are sold in a bunch of different retail stores. They also won’t break the bank and go with pretty much everything in the spring and summer time!
