MY FAV FALL OUTFITS: COLLEGE BUDGET

Yay! Happy fall everyone! It is finally that time of year when all the comfy sweaters come out. It is one of my favorite times of year for that reason. Here are my favorite outfits to wear during fall while in college! I don’t wear any extremely expensive pieces when I am in college, so I wanted to write this post specifically with a budget in mind. The trick with buying a new piece of clothing is always to think about what kinds of outfits you can put together, because one piece may be wearable 5 different ways. I love buying basics that I can pair with any shoes or accessory. I am not wearing a purse being usually during this time of year I have a backpack 🙂

I have a lot of favorite stores, but when it comes to online shopping, my favorite website is Rosie Daze Boutique. I LOVE their site and clothes. Everything I have purchased is super soft and comfy. The prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. I don’t like buying things that could just fall apart after a few washes, because college washers and dryers aren’t the best. (Can anyone relate?)  The owner, Casey Holmes, is one of my biggest style and beauty inspirations. She has an amazing Youtube channel, and I literally love every product she recommends. I highly recommend you check her out! She works so hard on her boutique to only bring in pieces she herself would wear, and her style is definitely more on the comfy side.

You can check out their website here: Rosie Daze Boutique

This outfit is my go-to when it comes to days that aren’t freezing cold, because the boots keep me warm, but if the temperature was under 50 degrees I would need a bigger sweater or coat! I lOVEEEE the color of this dress. It speaks fall to me and the jean jacket is complementary. Even if you don’t have this exact dress, this look is very easy to duplicate with things you already own. Throw a jean jacket over a cute fall dress, pair it with your fav boots or over the knee boots, and you’re out the door.

Maroon Dress

This amazing dress is from Rosie Daze. I love the material, it is so comfy! It also has pockets, which I mean, pockets make everything a little happier.  I am wearing the dress in a size medium, however, I think a small would have worked too because of how stretchy it is!

The jean jacket is old but it was from American Eagle. I will link a one similar here!  I love American Eagle for anything denim related. It is pricier, but they last really well and are actually pretty warm!

The boots are from Steve Madden and I am obsessed. They are the best because there isn’t a crazy heel and they stay up on your thighs because there is a string. They are again a little pricey, but nothing compared to high end boots. You can take a look at the boots here. The belt I paired with this look is very old, I believe from my early high school days ( it’s scary to think back to when I was a freshmen in high school). Any brown or black belt would look cute!

The next outfit is my everyday favorite.  A comfy sweater and comfy jeans is all I need! The two things I have most in my closet is jeans and sweaters. These jeans are of course from Rosie Daze, however, they are sold out because they were from the spring collection! Rosie Daze sells Kan Can jeans, and these are that brand. They are selling different types of Kan Cans that are similar so I will link them! I am wearing a size 3 in the jeans, which is my normal size in Kan Cans.

The sweater is one of my favorite things in my closet. The color alone is so unique and makes any outfit look super cute. It is also a purchase from Rosie Daze. This specific one is from their comment sold in their “Rosie Daze VIP” page on facebook. If you like their boutique, then head to facebook and become a part of the group “Rosiedazevip”. You get a discounted rate for shipping, plus many items that are just part of the VIP page and aren’t sold on the site yet. Here is a link to the sweater. This isn’t the same sweater I am wearing in the picture, but it has the same amazing material! I am wearing a size medium for the oversized look. I am normally a size US small in Rosie Daze sweaters if I want to buy it true to size.

The length of the sweater is perfect because it is long enough to pair with leggings but also doesn’t look too baggy with a pair of jeans!

My little black booties are from Steve Madden, however i don’t believe they sell them anymore. Steve Madden has a TON of cute booties for fall and winter, so if you are in need of a cute pair I would head there!

The next outfit is my absolute favorite to pair during fall time. This little vest/cover up is the BEST! The colors remind me of a pumpkin patch and it is actually very thick so it can keep you nice and toasty. This vest is also from Rosie Daze, of course! This exact color isn’t available, but they have a very similar one!

I paired the vest with a skirt from Hollister and a long sleeve basic black top. I thought because of the colors in the vest, the rest of the outfit needed to be simple to balance it out. The exact skirt I am wearing is sold out because I bought it three years ago, but here is a similar one!

Thank you for reading my current favorite fall outfits!

I really appreciate it!
