LIFE UPDATE/ NOVEMBER GOALS

 

Hey everyone! I have missed writing in my blog so much! Everything has been going at 300 miles an hour, and I just can’t believe that it is the middle of November already! Just in the past week, I have had three major exams, and I have applied to more jobs for post-grad. That process is crazy, I am so happy and overwhelmed I have got most of it done! I have been juggling more than I can hold, but hopefully things will start slowing down.

Today I wanted to talk about my November goals, even though most of November has already past. I also wanted to mention, today was the first snow fall of the season here in Penn, it seems insane that it’s snowing, as it never comes this early here. When I lived in Maine it was normal to have snow from the end of October. I love winter, but I do miss the days I didn’t have to scrub my car before getting into it.

Recap from last month

Last month I was able to complete my fitness goal of going to the gym four times a week, so I hope to keep going.

I haven’t been doing as much for the blog as I wanted too, so that is definitely a constant goal that have.

Okay on to my goals,

  1. I REALLLLYYY want to write more on my blog. Since I have been so busy, I haven’t had the time to do much of anything except school work. It all hit me the passed few weeks, but I promise I will be back writing more fun content more frequently.
  2. I want to read a book that has nothing to do with my classes. I have been reading only school books recently as that’s all I have time for. I want to read the next installment of “Crazy Rich Asians”, ahhh the first one was so good! Can we talk about how amazing the movie was?
  3. Be less stressed and sleep more. I have been running on “Coffee coffee coffee!” (Gilmore Girls anyone?!) for the past month. I am lucky to get 4-5 hours of restful sleep. I have been doing work until 2-3 am and then I wake up, drink coffee, and do it all again.
  4. Get up when my alarm goes off, the FIRST time. I have this habit of shutting my alarm off and snoozing it. I know this is so bad and I want to get out of the silly habit. I think this will help me be more productive and give me more time to do my morning routine!
  5. Get back into drawing. I LOVE being creative, so I want to spend some time on the weekend drawing and stretching.
  6. Weekly date night with my boyfriend. I love setting time aside to go on a special date once week, to catch up and spend time together not staring at a computer screen
  7. This one is guided for Thanksgiving, but I want to tell every person in my life that I am so thankful for them, and how much they mean to me. I plan on making little homemade cards on Thanksgiving, to remember why we celebrate the holiday in the first place.

Those are my main goals for the remainder of the month! From tomorrow the 20th to the next Saturday, the 24th, I will be posting a blog a day, including, my favorite Thanksgiving day outfits, makeup, and my November bullet journal set up. I wanted to do a little “Thanksgiving week” series, because it is one of my favorite holidays and I want to share the joy with my readers!
