Hey friends! So I posted a little blog about confidence and this outfit was what I wore in the pictures.
White shorts are my favorite staple piece in the summer time. I find them to be super comfy and flattering. I prefer to have high waisted shorts as well because it flatters my body type and enhances the smallest part of my waist.
I love to pair a plain white pair of shorts with a bright colored top. This top is off the shoulder and its cropped. The length works perfectly with a pair of high-waisted pants or shorts. It’s light-weight, which is important in very hot Floridian weather. This particular top was from Tj-maxx and it was a very inexpensive price. I will link a few similar pieces below. I am wearing this piece in a size small, which is my usual size on top.
The shorts are from Burlington Coat Factory. I have pairs of shorts from TopShop that are similar, so I will link those as well. These shorts are stretchy and can be warn as high-waisted shorts, even though they technically aren’t sold as high-waisted. I usually wear a size US 6 or a small/medium on the bottom. For me the size varies from brand to brand, so I never judge if something will fit by size, I usually can eye it and see if it will fit or not.
My favorite shoes to wear with a plain outfit is a fun pair of wedges or sandals. These shoes by Steve Madden are my absolute favorite. They are so comfy and easy to walk in! I am not a huge heal person because I find my height is perfect so I never feel like I have the need to wear them! These ones feel like slippers honestly. Steve Madden is my favorite shoe brand, plus these shoes are in a Rose Gold color. That is literally my favorite color in the entire world. And pink…!
