FESTIVITES HAVE BEGUN: BLOGMAS DAY ONE

Happy December 2nd everyone! I cannot believe it is already December and Christmas is in 23 days! I am so excited!

Okay. I love the holidays, I admit. There is something special about this time of year, and I want to share my joy to all of my readers. Since I was a kid, as I was a figure skater, it was the most special time because of the ice skating show we had outside on the pond.

To celebrate and help bring everyone into the festive mood I am doing Blogmas this year, which means I will be posting different kinds of holiday/winter blog posts everyday until the end of December.

Yesterday my boyfriend and one of my best friends decided to decorate our room super festive, because we were all feeling a little low from studying and an overwhelming amount of assignments due in upcoming weeks. Since we weren’t feeling the best, we decided to buy a little Christmas tree and bring out all of the decorations. A lot of the decor I took from my mom because she has a huge box of decorations and I love them! I have never had my own tree, however, this year my college’s finals week goes until the 21st of December, so we just said why not. I live in a small dorm room so we didn’t have much space free, but it somehow worked and came together super nicely! We decorated the tree it with our own little decorations, and I absolutely love how it turned out. My fav ornament has to be the little banana, so cute!

This tree was inexpensive and it looks so nice! In my house we always had a real tree, but we didn’t want to try taking care of a real tree in our small dorm room. Instead of presents, we used some stuffed animals we won at the boardwalk in New Jersey as “presents” under the tree.

Let us share the joy together. Make sure you are subscribed, you will getting a festive and cozy read in your email everyday.

P.S. Do you guys go all out for the Holiday’s, too?
